How We Can Work Together
What if you no longer had to give yourself away in order to find connection and a sense of belonging in your relationships?
If you’re an ambitious, overachiever with a heart of gold and find yourself stuck in more one-sided relationships than you would like, you’re in the right place.
You value being kind and helpful (which is great), but now you’re in a position where you feel compelled to always be ‘nice.’ You find yourself feeling resentful, holding back what you really think, feeling taken for granted, and managing low grade anxiety all while trying to figure out how to set better boundaries.
It can be difficult to acknowledge that you’ve taken being a ‘nice’ person to the extreme and you don’t even feel like yourself in a lot of your relationships. It’s impacting your mental and emotional health and you might even notice physical symptoms like headaches, insomnia, unexplained pain, and IBS symptoms. I’ve seen this happen more times than I can count – suppressing your true emotions can wreak havoc on your body.
You’ve probably talked through these challenges in the past in therapy or coaching and gotten some relief, but that anxious feeling in your body never seems to go away. In the moment, when you want to speak up, you notice you still default to ‘nice.’
What if you could shift from being ‘nice’ to being kind?
When you’re kind, you can still be firm, direct, and honest.
I believe leading with kindness is the most compassionate path.
And…
Instead of only talking it through, what if we address what’s going on in your body?
The nervousness, the knot in your stomach or tightness in your throat, or even the deep sadness, grief, or rage that comes over you when you’re triggered.
In our work together, this looks like being guided to drop your attention from your mind to your body and work with your feelings and sensations in a different way…. In moments of freeze, overwhelm, or reactivity, it’s hard to access that part of your brain that’s trying to reframe things or find an affirmation. Your body takes over.
Which is why, in somatic work, we focus on those reactions to shift and transform them at the root.
I’ve seen it over and over again with myself and clients – it’s absolutely possible to shift your patterns around default people pleasing and take your power back through somatic work.
If healthier, connected, and more fulfilling relationships are your goal, I’d love to work with you.
About Emotional Alchemy Sessions
A body based, trauma informed approach to help you explore and process the root cause of challenges showing up in your relationships. You’ll be guided through a combination of body based modalities to help you feel (versus think) your way through challenging relationship dynamics and shift underlying patterns at the level of your nervous system.
How long does this take?
It’s understandable to want to know how many sessions you’ll need to address the challenges you are facing, however it’s different for everyone. Healing can not be rushed AND while it doesn’t have to take forever, it does take some time and commitment based on your personal history and where you are in your journey.
If you’ve been navigating these relationship challenges for years (or decades), there’s no magical one session fix.
My typical recommendation at the start is to commit to 4-6 months and schedule at least two sessions a month. However, everyone is different so I’m happy to discuss this further towards the end of our first call.
My commitment to you is to show up, fully present and ready to support you.

If you’re newer to somatic work (or to me, as a practitioner), I’d love to make it easier for you to explore this modality by offering you an Emotional Alchemy session for an introductory rate so you can experience the powerful benefits for yourself.
Here’s what you can expect in during our time together:
- Share relevant parts of your early life history for background and context
- Explore a challenge or trigger coming up in a relationship using a combination of somatic approaches where you’ll be guided from your head to your body to shift how your nervous system responds to the trigger
- Wrap up with debriefing about the experience, any shifts you’ve noticed, and ensure you’re feeling grounded and settled at the close
You would be amazed at how receiving an insight around one relationship can lead to you taking action, speaking up, or shifting a major underlying dynamic that has been impacting many relationships in your life.
Book your first Emotional Alchemy session for an introductory rate of $199 here.
After the initial session, if this feels like a good fit, we can discuss what ongoing work could look like in terms of frequency of sessions and duration. Ongoing sessions are $225/session.
You’re always welcome to schedule a complimentary consultation here to get your questions answered before scheduling an initial session to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
A little about me:
Hi, I’m Manisha,
I’m a somatic healing practitioner and I’ve spent over two decades studying, practicing and teaching an array of somatic practices one on one and in groups.
While I didn’t realize it until years later, as someone with a sensitive nervous system, I’d always been drawn to practices that would help me feel grounded in my body. Over the years, I’ve studied yoga, meditation, craniosacral therapy, inner relationship focusing and the learning never ends.
The combination of learning how to slow down, be with my emotions, and navigate triggers using body based practices and studying attachment, nervous system physiology and relationship dynamics is what actually helped me engage in more fulfilling relationships.
Creating safe spaces and blending a variety of somatic modalities so people can process what’s keeping them anxious or repeating the same old (dysfunctional) patterns in relationships is the focus of my work.
While I love spiritual practices and have studied and incorporated astrology into my client work for years, I have a very grounded approach to healing as an occupational therapist, yoga teacher and a constant student of the impacts of early traumatic experiences on our relationships.
I would be honored to support you if this resonates for you!
